Hubby and I rented this cause we've seen all the rest of them. If you love action this movie has it. Lots of it. It has 3 strong female main characters which is great but it was a little over kill. It has Arnold S, because he was the 1st Terminator. I found his role a bit weak though. Yes, I realize that both him and the actress that plays Sarah Connor are both old as can be but still.
They messed up where the main story line is concerned. The new female soldier Grace who comes to save Dani, the Latino female that the terminators is after. She most definitely has sass and guts. I enjoyed her part of the movie.
All I can say is people in Hollywood are running out of original ideas. As you can guess this is just a remake with a very small twist to it.
Dani, Daniella she plays both sides of the coin. She is weak and helpless and then she comes to terms with her new life and takes control. But in the end it really isn't believable. She is being groomed to take over Sarah's position in ways, not all.
They messed up in another scene of the movie, time frame wise which just wouldn't make things believable the way they wanted IMO. The story line is weak even though it's familiar. The terminators that are after Dani are of course a newer model but that doesnt make them smarter or more believable.
If you like blood there is plenty of that in this movie. There are parts that have subtitles because of them speaking Spanish. That wasn't a problem for me though.
This could have been done so much better if they had actually taken the time that was needed with it. I gave it 3 stars because in a lot of ways it is a good movie-lots of action, fighting. But I wish they would have done better in other parts of it.
