I can not wait for Season 2. I binge watched this last night and I was OMG all the way through. What is great about it, is the main male character is one of my favorite actors. It's interesting to see him playing a different kind of role rather than:

So far The Stranger is my most loved series this year.

This is the best setup I have seen done for this year. I think she did a good job, has some really cute but clean ideas to track her books and such.

Morbius

I want to go see this movie so bad. I have always loved vampires since childhood and that hasn't changed as I got older 😄 I am not a huge fan of the actor though who is playing Morbius  but from this trailer this looks like the actors best movie role to date. If it ends up being as good as I think it will be it will most likely get added to the collection.

Joker

I have had a love hate relationship with this movie since I saw the trailers for it.

This movie is most definitely not for kids 15 and under. This movie is disturbing and not just because of the violence but the way that mental illness is portrayed.

Arthur is a man down on his luck in the worst way and it never gets any better. It just goes from worse to worst.

I grew up with Batman and the Joker in cartoons and this is nothing like that.

They wanted a complete adult version of this film and this is what it is. It is most definitely a twist put on the Joker but they messed up because if this is how it truly started between the Joker and Bruce Wayne then all the other movies we've had screwed up because none of the Jokers would have been the proper age.

This movie most definitely has triggers so anyone who has a trigger cause of violent acts or abuse I suggest you NOT watch this movie. This movie is dark.

And the fact that Joaquin Phoenix had to become anorexic for this role was sickening.  

I had a close friend who died from this disease so for a healthy actor to go to such extremes for a role is just mind boggling.

I think that this film handled all of these issues that the Joker dealt with and was trying to deal with as nothing more than just that a joke.

I am so glad I didn't waste my money in theaters to see this. I am even kind of pissed off I wasted the rental fee to see it on Dish.  

1st Series For The Year Finished

I have no idea if this will get picked up for a second season but I totally enjoyed it. It leads you down one rabbit hole after another with different characters and things that unfolded or didnt unfold in their lives. And just when you think you have the plot hole figured out and ready to throw the dirt back in to fill it the bottom drops out once again on you.

I hope it comes back for another season. I will say that 10 episodes wasn't long enough for me this year. It's an interesting cast and mix of people. And it makes you wonder what you would do if things unfolded in your own time, how would you handle it, how would the world react, and yet nothing is ever as it seems to be.
