How much can one go through before life breaks them?
The only thing that keeps me together, keeps me sane, is my monster.
Did I plan to fall in love with my monster, the grim reaper? No.
But it happened anyway.
And all he does is push me away.
You know what?
He needs to be careful what he asks for because he just might get it.

My Thoughts
I was so looking forward to reading this story. It had a lot of potential. Unfortunately the author didn't deliver on it. It fell flat. The storyline never developed and the two main characters didn't evolve or grow beyond the beginning stage. Yes, it had a little gore and blood but not scarey or dark enough to make me blink. It was a long spiral of temper tantrums by both main characters. I DNF it after chapter 27. I just couldn't hold out any longer for it to get better.
