Going Beyond

It was a warning. It was obvious she had reached a dead end, just like she had in life. But as she peered beyond the sign there stood the one place she knew she couldn't resist. It actually existed she thought it only existed in the land of her dreams and yet here it stood, inviting her, beckoning her.

She knew she should turn around and go back the way she came but the lure was too strong. She stepped over the threshold. And in that instant she knew she would never return to the life she once knew. She was home at last where she belong.

Fading To Stone

Tonight she would allow the stone to claim her fully. The end of a thousand years was over and yet still no mate to claim her in sight. She had endured and for what? The prophecy was a lie. Everything she had ever believed in was a lie. There was no more to live for. It was better to die then continue this lonely existence.

Moonlight shone upon the shadows creeping below giving them a life of their own. People scurried about never knowing the true reality of what made up their world. Maybe their lives were better off that way. She was tired, so tired. It would be so easy to drift into eternal sleep if only to be able to forget. Was that even possible?

The coldness started to seep through her skin. Once a beautiful tan master piece of living flesh. A body human females died trying to achieve and men lusted after. Slowly, the muted greys consumed her flesh. She was ready to forget it all.

"No, wait!" The sound of that masculine plea sounded so far away. It was fading... fading...almost to nothing. "I won't let you go that easily!"

Those were the last muffled words she heard before she was nothing more than a stone statue.

How To Hang A Witch

I saw this Book Trailer for it and instantly got hooked. So I am sharing the trailer.

A Haunting We Will Go

But
this was something she had never heard of before let alone experienced. From the outside it seemed like the perfect writers getaway. No phones, no cable, no internet. And most important of all no people. She could write to her hearts content.

It would be the perfect spot to inspire her latest series. It had been four long years since she had written anything worthy of being published. If she wanted to be known or even remembered she had to write something that would literally take the readers breaths away. The ghost had always been there it just took her awhile to realize it.
