I was so looking forward to seeing this movie. I couldn't wait. Let me begin by saying I was no upset with Jason's acting in this at all. He did exactly what he was hired to do and he did it very well.

I had a problem with her though. Yes, I know it was a movie but there was really nothing between him and Mera to make the love story part of it buyable. They just threw that in for good measure.

I loved the special effects and the creatures that they bought into this movie. That part was wonderful. I loved the fact that they did give you some back story and some history for their version of Atlantis.

The other part I had problems with was the brother who had made himself king of Atlantis because of Arthur's absence.

The movie was good and I did enjoy it but yet while you were watching it, you get the feeling that something is missing, there is a piece of the puzzle not there. In all honesty I could have waited for this to hit the pay preview channels on Dish and I would have been just as happy seeing it on there as I was going to the theater.

Will I spend $15-20 dollars on it when it hits dvd? No.
