Yellowstone The Series

The series for Tv. It's main character Kevin Costner. He is a favorite of mine. I have watched just about every movie with him in it. He never ceases to put on a wonderful performance and this series is no exception.

A lot of people were pissed off with his role as a famous rancher who is out to protect what belongs to him and his family. This series has a wide range of actors and actresses. Hubby and I are hooked but a bit upset because there is no new release date yet for season 2 which has already been in the process of filming.

Yellowstone follows the Dutton family, led by John Dutton, who controls the largest contiguous ranch in the United States, under constant attack by those it borders - land developers, an Indian reservation, and America's first National Park. It is an intense study of a violent world far from media scrutiny - where land grabs make developers billions, and politicians are bought and sold by the world's largest oil and lumber corporations. Where drinking water poisoned by fracking wells and unsolved murders are not news: they are a consequence of living in the new frontier. He plays the Chief for the Native American side. You may recognize him from the Twilight Films, Siren was his other latest series for Tv where he plays a cop.

One of the ranch hands.

The golden child-son who is a lawyer and Kevin's daughter on the show. She is a spit fire and you might recognize her as she has been in the movie 10 x 10 that I reviewed a while back.

His other surviving son Kasey who is also a military boy married to a Native American woman.

The other 2 cow hands. The one in the black hat is Rip and the other is Jimmy. Rip is John (Kevins) right hand man. He manages the outside workings of the ranch, the hands and so forth. He has become 1 of my favorite characters on the show.

But I have to admit the one who is stealing my heart on this show is his only grandchild Tate who belongs to Kasey. This little guy reminds me of Little Man in a lot of ways.

I can't wait for Season 2. I have really enjoyed spending time with hubby watching something we both can enjoy.
