"I am your mate not your child. Or have you forgotten that I am the Alpha female of this pack?" She glared at him refusing to back down. There wasn't an ounce of fear in her.

"If you don't listen to me neither will the pack. And if they turn on me they will turn on you."

"Maybe then it's time to remain in human form."

"Impossible!" Such a thing was unheard of. No one over the centuries had denied their true self to remain human. Besides it couldn't be done.
