Take away the sunrise
Dip me in moonlight
Let the waves
Wash over my body
For the soul

Innocence
Has turned to rage
The halo

Fall like rain
With no one
To catch them

The fragile parts

As she searches
For something
To make her whole
That one word
That one act
Of kindness

She turns away
And Embraces
The only thing she has ever known
Letting it wrap around her
Until she is lost from sight
Except for the darkness
