She pulled the knife from her chest and smiled. “Was that suppose to hurt?”
"I don't understand. You should...you should be....dead."
"Honey, you can't kill the dead. We're already dead." Her laughter filled the small confines of the room. She walked closer to Sophia.
"But you look so....alive."
"I was once but now I will live forever."
"What do you want....with me?" the tremble from her voice traveled all the way through her body vibrating it as she tried to back away even further from this woman, this creature.
"You're standing in the way of what I want."
"What are you talking about?"
"Robert."
"What are you going to do to me?"
"I'm going to show you how I look so alive." Her fangs sunk deep into the side of her neck. Sophia's futile attempts didn't dislodge her attacker. Samara drank her fill.
