My Thoughts:
This book is by the wonderful talented lady named Maggie Carpenter. Who can resist such a cover? I bought it because of the cover. So whoever tells you covers dont matter is lying. I love erotic romances and Maggie delivers in this delicious discovery of it between a high bred woman named Flora who is too strong willed for her own good and the rogue aristocrat Zane Deville.
Things are not always as they seem which is a lesson that both Flora and Zane learn as they journey together through this tale. Zane is a man who loves, leaves them. A man who knows what he wants and goes after it. Flora knocks him for a loop though because she is nothing like what he expected. She speaks her mind, is reckless, she acts then thinks which often lands her in trouble.
Zane is determined to show her the errors of her ways even if it means not being a gentleman to do so. Lust and blossoming love emerge in ways neither was expecting. But his past comes back to haunt not only him but puts Flora in harms way. Can he save her? Can he have a life with her he never thought possible or will it be too late?
Maggie weaves a wonderful tale together with just the right taste of history to make you forget the real world you live in as you dive into her romances. So what are you waiting for?
