My Thoughts:
What a story to sink your teeth into. I have read a lot of Daddy-baby girl romances but Kara Kelley adds a fresh twist to this theme. I was intrigued by the cover, who can resist a man who looks like that? I certainly dont want to and it was extremely hard for Avery, as a matter of fact she did. Avery is a young woman who comes from tragedy at the very beginning. She is left almost an orphan, she might as well have been considering how her grandparents treated her after her parents death. She learns what growing up with nothing is. Then when she turns of age she gets her trust fund money her parents left her. That just causes more trouble including the con artist husband who ends up murdered, making her flee for her life.

Mike aka Mountain man Daddy has lived as a recluse for years after the death of his family. A retired cop living life on his own terms in the mountains. His only close friend is Annie a widowed doctors wife who is one of my favorite characters in this story. She tells it how it is, no beating around the bush with Yukon. Mike does his best to keep his distance but his gut instincts tell him there is more to Avery then meets the eye and he finds himself falling for her.

This is a captivating story that leads to some of the most intense sex scenes I have seen in a while. Just like any Daddy he is more than willing to punish his little girl when she is naughty and needs it. If you want depth, feeling, spankings, wonderful sex then you need to read this book. Delve into the pages for yourself and learn just how Mountain Man Daddy saves his little girl.
