The Biker

Title: The Biker
Author: Jolie Day
Publisher:Self Published
Genre: Erotic Romance
Rating: 3 ***

This is a prequel to the Outlaw.

Book Description:
Marc “Angel Face” Kelly
Aloof. Dominant. Damn sexy.
And knows it, too.
The man with the face of an angel is on the run from his past and wants a new beginning. But his old buddies from the biker gang still have a score to settle with him.

Lauren Stanton
Cool. Collected. Vulnerable.
She, too, has a past that she wants to forget.
She has found a new home in the small town of Slightuckett in Narragansett Bay, where she feels safe.

Marc literally slides into Lauren’s life. Both immediately feel drawn to each other, but Lauren is afraid of the handsome, dominant man. And Marc can deal with pretty much anything, except a woman who gets under his skin.

When Lauren is in danger, he has to decide: does he really want to desert the woman who awakens such strong feelings in him?

My Thoughts: First off I am not much into Biker stories, especially after being spoiled with S.O.A.. This short story was fast paced and well written. Who could resist someone such as Marc Kelley? And any hot bloodied american woman would have been swooning at his feet just like Lauren. A little hot summer sexual adventure just what the doctored ordered although at the time she didn't quite realize it. I enjoyed this short story and look forward to more of Jolie Day's work in the future.
